It's been a while! Corona significantly cramped events for two years. But hopefully it will stay away and if it doesn't I hope the govenments don't overreact quite so much. That being said I will try and be a bit more communicative since I have received several criticisms that my efforts on social media and on this blog are severly lacking!

Since Namibia's successful race the motivation has been renewed to get competing again and the summer plan is in full swing.

Two challenges this year: to run around the Bodensee (Lake Constance) in July and cross some of the deserts of Jordan in November.

Training & nutrition - See my training plan on this website to follow how I'm preparing for the two challenges this year. I also finally invested in my own weights and bench to improve the strength training and have joined the local beautiful outdoor swimming pool to improve some upper body muscles.

Here below is yesterday's summit. Duke and I managed 1000m vertical where the temperature was a pretty warm 27 degrees. Some steep trails and the occasional aggressive cow didn't mar a lovely 4 hour hike. In the background of the photo are East Switzerland's highest mountains on the right, Lichtenstein's mountains on the left and Austria's Rhein valley. Supreme views :)
